The Rugby was followed by our first club piss up of the season. A good contingent remained in the Bell for lots of beer and drinking games. Two new recruits Tom and blob joined us which was great to see but no idea what happened to them later in the evening and think they went AWOL.
Tom was one of the early victims and looked like he was going to be an early casualty luckily Mike Northcott came to his rescue !!!! The new players for the club all did their initiation drinks in the true spirit. There were however some notable absentees who will still have to go through the initiaition and it can only get worse!!
Mike foolishly decided to “have a go” at the games master only to come of considerably worse for wear but he simply wouldn’t shut up and after downing his fifth pint in one decided to water the doorway at the Bell !!
We then moved into “Nam” to join the sober members of the club at the Bear and it was great to have over 25 members of the club all drinking together the only notable events of the evening were Ed not being being Barred from the Black Horse and Mike stupidly giving up his phone to the Teen wolf who sent a message to Mike’s girlfriend
“ Don’t bother coming out tonight cos I’ve found someone else and think your Ugly anyway”
Mike then spend the next hour on the phone trying to calm her down. Mike undoubtedly is the first candidate for the Gnome award !!
